Turtle Islands Lars and Christine, North Inderøy Sea – The crew set sail once more, chasing rumors of massive turtles drifting between Eye Island and Arcachon. Their deep-dive research at Helberskon’s great library had confirmed these waters were a wild frontier for all manner of shelled beasts - including the legendary dragon turtle. With Tiyana’s volcanic might packing enough explosive heat to rival a heavy cannon blast, they were ready to face whatever lawless chaos lay ahead.

A Tavern on a Turtle and a Map in a Keg
After days navigating the open blue, they spotted something truly rugged: a floating tavern perched atop the shell of a massive turtle named Lars. Stepping aboard, they were greeted by the boisterous roar of sailors, the clinking of heavy tankards, and the mouth-watering scent of bacon sizzling on a flat top. At the center of this unbridled revelry stood Rupert Copperkettle, an imposing figure brandishing a heavy frying pan like his only law.
Rupert greeted the crew with a hearty breakfast and enough beer to fuel a revolution, but as he tapped the last keg, something unexpected surfaced - half of a rugged, tattered treasure map. Before they could even stake their claim on it, a drunken voice crashed through the festivities.
Freeloader Fenna’s Challenge
A rowdy renegade named Fenna slammed her empty mug onto the bar with enough force to start a riot, demanding a refill. Rupert stood his ground and refused. That’s when the crew spotted the other half of the map - stuffed haphazardly into Fenna’s sleeve like some stolen loot.
Marina tried to negotiate a trade, but Fenna wasn't interested in diplomacy; she wanted a pure test of grit: a drinking contest with Selah. The first round was a total washout - one sip left Selah looking defeated. Undetered and ready for the fight, Marina stepped up for the rematch.
As they toasted to their independence, Marina’s keg shattered in her hands, drenching both her and Fenna in a torrential downpour of beer. Too much of a free spirit to care, Fenna handed over the map… using it as a napkin. Although the edges were pretty much ruined, Rupert managed to piece together the general layout of the turtle island, pointing them westward toward Christine.
Navigational Blunders and Baldwin’s Island
Setting sail with Selah at the helm, the crew went completely off-course, losing their way so badly they actually drifted back to Rupert’s tavern before finally making landfall at Christine.
Aboard her shell, they were met by Baldwin Shieldley, a rugged druid who had abandoned the life of an adventurer to live a solo, self-sufficient existence on Christine. He showed them his untamed magical garden, home to some truly formidable and strange plants…
A Garden of Wonder
The crew presented him with the map, explaining they needed a plant powerful enough to cleanse the ink spill. Baldwin led them through his wilderness, revealing three fascinating specimens:
- The Wisdom Lily – Enhances memory and uncovers hidden truths.
- The Moon Dew Blossom – Glows in the dark and produces pure, purifying water.
- The Sticky Spit Flower – …It was just incredibly, stubbornly sticky.
In a messy mishap involving high levels of independence (and lack of coordination), Baldwin and Selah ended up covered in sticky spit, much to Marina’s amusement.
As Baldwin cleaned up, he gave Tiyana and Marina the freedom to explore the ruins. Together, they discovered Dragon's Breath herb, which releases a warm puff of smoke like a sudden burst of gunpowder when squeezed, as well as the Whisper Leaf, which mumbles secrets in an unknown tongue when you lean in close. Marina was particularly interested in some blue-colored fruit, which turned out to be nothing more than ordinary blueberries!
After a bout of uncontrollable laughter triggered by some Giggle Root, they finally tracked down the Purifying Plum toward the north of the island, a plant that produces a nectar capable of scrubbing away any blemish. They applied it to the map, and the stains vanished like much-needed justice!
An Ancient Puzzle and a Secret Passage
With the map restored to its former glory, the crew followed its cryptic instructions. After some trial and error, Marina held a golden mirror found on an altar at a precise angle, while Selah stood by the grand statue at the island's heart and Tiyana positioned herself next to the Wisdom Lily. Ethereal butterflies swarmed Tiyana; as she moved, a beam of light reflected off the mirror onto the statue, revealing a hidden staircase.
They cautiously descended into the unknown, finding a small pedestal holding a mysterious flask filled with amber liquid.
Fenna’s Return and the Bottle’s True Nature
Before they could claim their prize, Fenna reappeared - and snatched the flask!
Selah reacted instantly, striking her with the pinpoint accuracy of a seasoned marksman. Fenna collapsed, dropping the bottle, which Tiyana caught just in time.
Fenna, now groggy and disoriented, claimed the flask was her rightful inheritance - a never-ending supply of rum. But something didn't sit right. Selah used Moon Dew Blossom water to sober her up instantly, and the change was startling.
Fenna, suddenly lucid for the first time in weeks, admitted she had been lying about her past and was only drinking to escape it. The crew sent her off in her own rowboat, hoping she would find her own path to freedom.
New Clues and the Next Adventure
Grateful for their help, Baldwin allowed them to take samples of his enchanted plants. As Marina giggled uncontrollably from the effects of the Giggle Root, the crew set sail once more, eager to hunt down the next great secret hidden among the turtle islands.
