Between The Great Ridge and Port Elgin - What began as an unfettered pursuit of prosperity on a secluded beach has transformed into a harrowing saga of supernatural encounters, hidden agendas, and high-stakes discoveries. Four rugged adventurers converged upon a shipwreck washed ashore, setting in motion a series of events that could reshape the very destiny of Kenver and its frontiers.

The Gathering at the Shipwreck
Driven by the promise of riches and the sweet scent of opportunity, four adventurers met amidst the debris of a decimated vessel. Among them, Captain Mad Matt made his bold presence known, declaring his mission to secure a new vessel and an even more legendary crew. The fate of his previous crew remains shrouded in mystery, adding a layer of gritty intrigue to his unapologetic declaration. Moving with decisive efficiency, he recruited the others, appointing the monk Selah as First Fighter, the powerhouse fighter Sonia as Second Fighter, and the resourceful halfling druid Wilma Waterfoot as the party’s versatile all-rounder. Lamenting the irreparable state of the ship, they salvaged what remained of its hard-earned cargo: four barrels. Three were filled with mackerel and gunpowder - the essentials for any true pioneer - but the fourth held a strange, viscous pinkish-blue liquid that smelled both acidic and faintly fruity. Captain Mad Matt’s decisive taste test revealed it to be pineapple-flavored but far too acidic for comfortable consumption. Its sudden disappearance upon contact with water led the crew to dub it "the enemy of the sea."

Perilous Exploration Inside the Shipwreck
Venturing into the heart of the wreck, Wilma was swiftly knocked back by a flying fishbowl, which released an angry Piranhax into the ocean. The party successfully subdued the aquatic menace before discovering that the ship’s hold had the capacity for a massive 120 barrels of much-needed supplies. Deep within the captain's quarters, they encountered the ship's grizzled, blue-skinned captain, Liasu, who stood his ground with an intense, unyielding vow to defend his property from the intruders.

A Fight to the Death
Captain Liasu called upon two similarly blue sailors to uphold his defense, initiating a fierce battle for control. While Mad Matt and Sonia cornered Liasu, Selah found herself fighting an uphill battle against superior numbers. Meanwhile, outside, Wilma was busy grilling up the recently subdued Piranhax over an open flame. Upon hearing the clash of steel, she cleverly coated a Piranhax tooth in the mysterious liquid and hurled it into the ship, hoping to tip the scales for her comrades. Though the tooth missed its mark, Selah repurposed it as a righteous secondary weapon. Mad Matt attempted to interrogate Liasu but discovered the captain was beyond reasoning, seemingly gripped by an undead frenzy. In a climactic moment of justice, Sonia's greatsword pierced Liasu's side, and the righteous thunder of Mad Matt's trusty gun delivered the final blow, ending the eerie captain's existence once and for all.

Spoils of Battle and Clues to the Future
The heroes' search of the captain's cabin yielded several valuable assets:

Mad Matt discovered two books: a cookbook, which was gladly handed over to Wilma, and a mysterious deep blue tome written in an undecipherable language.
Sonia found a peculiar piece of high-performance gear made of glass, rubber, and pipe - akin to a snorkeling kit - allowing for easy breathing near the water's surface.
Selah uncovered two pieces of intel: one instructed Liasu to "deliver the cargo to Manamea without fail," and another, handwritten by Liasu himself, hinted at a different plan: "Port Elgin, The Day of the Full Moon."

With these revelations in hand, the party set their sights on the bustling hub of Port Elgin, determined to uncover the truth about the cryptic cargo and Liasu's ominous ambitions.
